The Chagrin Valley Conference spans Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, and Portage counties — one of Northeast Ohio's most competitive and passionate high school athletic communities.
The Chagrin Valley Conference was established in 1964 by six charter schools — Chagrin Falls, Kenston, Orange, Solon, Twinsburg, and West Geauga — drawing its name from the Chagrin River that flows through the founding communities.
Over six decades, the CVC has grown into one of Northeast Ohio's premier interscholastic athletic conferences. A major expansion in 2019 brought six new schools into the fold, and the conference is on track to reach 29 member schools by 2026–27 with continued realignment planned through 2028.
Today the conference operates four competitive divisions — Chagrin, Lake, Metro, and Valley — each featuring fierce local rivalries, dedicated fan bases, and the kind of community investment that makes high school sports matter.
LPV Productions follows the CVC calendar all year long.
